Social Partnerships

The Hermanus Rainbow Trust, like most other Non-Profit Organisation's in South Africa is finding it very difficult to secure "grant funding" every year, to continue providing comprehensive "Community and Social Development" services and support to the impoverished communities that we serve in the Overstrand.

Although the Board of Trustees and the Management Team are currently implementing a comprehensive "Sustainability Strategy" to reduce the dependence on "grant funding", this will take a number of years to become totally self-sustaining.

In the interim we need as much help as we can get from all available funding sources.

"Social Partnerships"

To enable everyone to take part in one way or another, so they can "MAKE a DIFFERENCE" in the lives of people living in our impoverished communities, we have established a number of "Social Partnership" programmes.

The sponsorship options are very flexible and afordable, starting at as little as R100.00 per month, so that everyone can "MAKE a DIFFERENCE" in supporting people less advantaged.

Please look at these programmes and consider supporting the HRT to help those disadvantaged people who cant help themselves.

The HRT "Social Enterprise"

The Hermanus Rainbow Trust has developed a "sustainability strategy" to limit the challenges of getting "grant funding" from government, funding agencies and business in these difficult economic times. The strategy is built around the establishment of a "Social Enterprise" in line with global trends.

Non-Profit Organisations - The Current Funding Model is NOT Sustainable

Why ? What are the alternatives ?

The Hermanus Rainbow Trust, like many other NPO’s / NGO’s, is threatened by the current "grant funding" models in South Africa, where most NPO’s are totally dependent on "grant funding from Government, Funding Agencies, Business, Individual Donors, Sponsors and fund raising events.

Please help us help those in NEED !
