Children's Christmas Parties

It was time once again to start spreading the Chrsitmas spirit to those who didn't have much to celebrate over the festive season. Between the 1st and 8th of December we held our annual Christmas parties for the children who are part of our Children's Circle of Support programme, the children from Zwelihle Pre-Primary (the Grade-R school that the HRT runs) and the children from Masizakhe and Khanya educare centres (the ECD centres that the HRT assists). For most of these children this was their only chance to receive a Christmas present, and these parties were the highlights of their year. Father Christmas made a special appearance and handed out presents to the children.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED GIFTS SO THAT EACH CHILD COULD HAVE THEIR OWN PRESENT THIS CHRISTMAS

We will be holding these parties again next year and we will again be looking for donations of presents, so pleaselook out for our request later in 2011.
